WITH ITS SIXTY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE THE FARM GIAMBRONE CONTAINS A HERITAGE OF EXPERIENCE HANDED DOWN TO NEW GENERATIONS,WHO ARE CURRENTLY MANAGING THE DIFFERENT PRODUCTION SECTORS.

The farm was founded in the 50s by Salvatore Giambrone and his wife Vincenza. In 1970 it moved to its present location in Contrada Passo Barbere, expanding with the contribution of later generations.

The core business is in Cammarata, a small mountain town in the heart of Sicily, known for its historic center of Arab origin and renowned food and wine. From here you can easily reach the natural reserve Monte Cammarata, the hermitage of Santa Rosalia, the castle of Mussomeli and the Temples Valley in Agrigento.

The dairy processing use only the milk from their own Italian Brown cows, producing handmade, stretched cheese like Caciotta, Caciocavallo, smoked cheese and Mozzarella. Soft cheeses such as Tomello and the Fior di Pepe and also tasty dairy products like Ricotta, yogurt and cheese cream. All it made with care and attention to quality that consumers deserve.

Of particular importance it is also the cultivation of fruit trees such as peaches, pears, plums, apricots, apples, oranges, organic olive oil and vegetables that vary with the seasons.

Over the years the company has developed other activities in addition to the purely agricultural side by side with it the Teaching Farm and Farmer’s Market.

We are well aware of the importance of the direct relationship between farmer and consumer, the need of purity, quality and traceability essential for a healthy diet. The ability to share the peasant culture, traditions, teaching the knowledge and the rhythms of the country is for us a mission in which we believe, especially for the new generations who can approach to nature and its fruits directly.
